BIO

Kelly Todd joined Vandeveer Garzia, PC as an Associate Attorney in 2021. She focuses her practice on defense litigation in the areas of first and third-party automobile negligence, general negligence, and medical malpractice. Prior to joining the firm, Kelly served as a Plaintiff attorney in Louisville, Kentucky for several years where she focused her practice on medical malpractice and personal injury claims. This experience allows her to better serve her clients with a greater understanding of how cases are litigated on both sides. Kelly earned her B.S. in Sociology from Southern Connecticut State University where she graduated cum-laude as an NCAA All American Scholar Athlete on the Women’s Gymnastics team, before receiving her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012. Kelly is also an active member and coach for USA Weightlifting, and provides advisory legal services to USA Weightlifting as a member of their Ad-Hoc Legal Committee. She also volunteers with the Michigan Advocacy Program to assist clients with expungement services, and is active in animal rescue as a member of the non-profit organization, Attorneys for Animals.
