Samantha Coulter, a native of Lapeer, MI, is an Associate Attorney practicing in the area of defense litigation. Her areas of focus at Vandeveer Garzia include First-Party Personal Protection Insurance, Third-Party automobile negligence, insurance coverage, real property, and various other general negligence claims. Samantha received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the James Madison College at Michigan State University, majoring in Social Relations and Policy and minoring in Economics with a concentration in real estate investment management. Thereafter, Samantha graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in the spring of 2021. She subsequently was admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan in November of the same year. While in law school, Samantha was a founding member of the Environmental Law Society and received an academic achievement award for her work in elder law. Samantha has previously conducted legal work in general negligence litigation, estate litigation and planning, elder law, cannabis law, and real estate – of which she holds an active salesperson license as well.
