With more than three decades of legal experience, Edward S. Toth guides clients, from publicly-traded companies to individuals, through complex litigation to find creative and effective solutions to an array of legal issues.

Ed’s practice focuses on representing clients—in state and federal courts and in arbitrations – in complex litigation arising out of commercial, corporate, real estate, insurance and employment disputes.  He has led litigation teams that obtained a $14.9 million judgment on behalf of a tier-one automotive supplier for breach of a long-term supply agreement; a defense verdict in trade secret litigation in which the Plaintiff sought $50 million in damages; and a $20 million settlement for a tier-one automotive supplier.

Ed also successfully represented a real estate developer in lawsuits brought by a city for alleged code violations related to the grading and clearing of land without the requisite permits. He resolved all of the cases for the total amount of $12,500.00—substantially less than the $2.1 million sought by the city.

In his practice, Ed represents clients in disputes arising from commercial leases, contracts, real estate transactions, misappropriation of trade secrets, non-competition agreements, tortious interference with business relationships, and insurance contracts, and conducted internal corporate investigations.
