I originally came to the firm as a part-time attorney in 2010 with young children at home, and gradually increased my docket and work status in a way that worked for my family. My hard work was recognized by the firm with a promotion to Partner and then Executive Partner. I am proud to be associated with a firm that extended the respect and flexibility to allow me to advance my legal career along a non-traditional pathway.

Fully rewarding professional and personal experience

I have been a practitioner since 1990 and was familiar with Vandeveer Garzia and several of their lawyers since that time. While I worked at another firm similar in practice to Vandeveer, I always held them to be the ideal defense firm. I went on to work as a solo-practitioner for many years and decided to adjust my practice to a more cooperative situation and contacted Vandeveer. We have been associated since then I have enjoyed a fully rewarding professional and personal experience. We have excellent leadership, many highly skilled attorneys, and a dedicated and competent staff. I am proud to be a member of the firm.

When I first started at Vandeveer Garzia, I was immediately given access to attorneys who were more than willing to provide me with mentorship. Under their guidance, I was given every opportunity to succeed and develop my skills as an attorney. I was taught how to not only do the best job for our clients, but also, how to hone my skills as a litigator. Everyone from associate attorneys to shareholders have been willing to provide their insight and recommendations related to questions specific to a case or just general practice tips. The firm truly values mentorship, and I am now blessed to be able to mentor new attorneys, just as I was mentored when I first started at the firm.

I came to Vandeveer Garzia in 2021 looking for a place where the experienced were able and willing to teach and found it. As time went on, I learned more and gained greater insight into how to handle my cases, how to present in the Courtroom, and how to overcome difficult obstacles. We focus on learning from the past while planning for the future which has allowed me to develop both professionally and as an individual.
