Appellate Practice Section
Andrew Malec joined Vandeveer Garzia in 2021 after graduating from Michigan State University College of Law. Andrew assists with managing the firm’s appellate practice, handling matters in the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court arising from a wide range of civil litigation issues. Andrew’s practice also focuses on First-Party Personal Protection Insurance and Third-Party automobile negligence, along with other general civil litigation matters throughout Michigan’s trial courts.
In Law School, Andrew competed in several national appellate moot court competitions, including the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition and the Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Competition. He is published in MSU College of Law’s International Law Review and served as President of the Student Bar Association for the 2020-2021 academic year.
