Brendan Kennedy is an Associate Attorney with Vandeveer Garzia. He focuses his practice in the area of business and commercial litigation, in addition to other complex civil litigation matters, including negligence, employment law, contract actions, construction litigation, municipal law, and premises liability. Brendan attended Marquette University for his undergraduate degree and graduated cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2024. During law school, he served as a legal intern at the Michigan Court of Appeals and was a senior member of the Moot Court team, representing his school in the Weschler First Amendment national competition in Washington D.C. He also received numerous academic awards throughout law school including inclusion on the Dean’s List, the Book Award in Evidence, and the Talbot Endowed Scholarship. Prior to joining Vandeveer Garzia as an attorney, Brendan clerked for the firm throughout law school.
