Mark M. Splain is a Partner at Vandeveer Garzia. His practice is focused on Business and Commercial Law, Auto/PIP, Insurance Coverage and Indemnity, Worker’s Compensation, and general liability defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mark worked in Business Litigation, Cannabis law, and Collections. Mark earned his J.D. from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School graduating cum laude. While in law school, he served for two years as the Evidence class Teachers Assistant helping students understand the intricacies of the Federal Rules of Evidence. Mark participated in and won first place in the Advanced Evidence Competition held once per year and earned the highest grade in the class for both Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Bankruptcy. While in his spare time, Mark enjoys camping and hiking in the beautiful forests of Michigan.
