ASHLEY A. SLAGHT is an Executive Partner at Vandeveer Garzia, specializing in insurance defense with a strong commitment to protecting her clients’ interests. She concentrates her practice on first and third-party automobile negligence, premises liability, and general negligence.

With extensive experience representing both insurance companies and insured individuals facing litigation, Ashley has a proven track record of handling complex cases and has tried numerous cases to jury verdict, including no-cause.

Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University, graduating with honors, and went on to obtain her juris doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, Ashley distinguished herself through an academic honors scholarship and several Book Awards for top performance in her courses. Ashley was also an active member of the National Mock Trial Team.
